One day our hero, Ginji, comes across a bizarre sight: three beautiful girls fighting a harried battle while dressed in outrageous costumes. The are the lovely Jewel Knights Crusaders, defenders of justice: loyal Yuki, cheerful Ruri, and the hopelessly cute Hisui.
